Make a Hemnes dresser soft close by adding felt stoppers to the inside bottom of the drawer on the railing where roller hits the drawer. Dresser now closes much more quietly!

Nice! Speaking of Hemnes dresser, does anyone know the size of the drawer pull screws? Not in the manual. I was hoping to change out the hardware on it

I thiiiiink they're metric screws size M4 (and are 25mm in length). I figured this out by looking at the screw part number (100413) in the assembly brochure and then googling that IKEA part number.

We bought a new dresser at IKEA but found when the drawers were shut by the children (or anyone) it was quite loud. We thought about buying soft-close hardware, but couldn't find it (and would have been expensive). This hack helps a lot and now the noise is dampened substantially, much quieter. It's an inexpensive trick and helps especially in a multi-unit or nursery room or any situation when noise is a concern.

Maybe the hardware is not stocked in your country, but Ikea's Markhus does that, and costs very very little (3-4 Euros here).
